The upgrade to eioboard.com was completed on 8-17-08 for all our EIOBoard-Hosted Internet customers. This major EIOBoard release included the long-awaited second version of the EIOBoard Outlook Interface has added many new features that mimic our feature-filled EIOBoard Application. The EIOBoard 6.0 Application interface added a new "Full Screen Mode" with a new Company Setting to have a scrolling or un-scrolling “Marquee" message for staff to view. This release also had an update for our EIOBoard Kiosk software for both the "PC Only" and the CE versions to have a "Guest Sign-in" option. And finally, we added a brand new add-on interface for EIOBoard called EIOBoard Punch.

It is designed to allow you to hook up a PC and have one or two devices (HID, barcode, fingerprint, etc) connected and map those devices to status changes. For example, you buy two HID devices, label one “In” and one “Out” or strategically place one inside the building and one outside the building. Then just scan your card on your way in and out and your status is automatically updated.
