Standard Electric replaces their old “paper” solution with Savance's new WarehouseSavant solution. This process involved implementing a wireless infrastructure, Symbol handhelds, and a completely new process.

Madison Electric goes live with Symbol Handhelds, a new wireless infrastructure, and a completely new process to replace their old, Paperless Warehouse System (TPW). After two weeks of continuous use, the system has far exceeded expectations from both management and staff.

After a thorough review and trial process, Allied Electric selected Savance's distribution solution to improve their quoting process and reduce their paperwork and administrative tasks.

One of Savance's biggest customers, Madison Electric, signed a contract today for Document Management, Warehouse Management, and Signature Capture. The Document Management, eDocSavant, is a fully automated scanning and indexing solution that allows staff to bring up documents electronically to e-mail, fax, or print. It also allows customers to view electronic copies of their proof of deliveries online. The Warehouse Management solution provides a state of the art PC and handheld system that includes receiving, cycle counting, shipping, route assistance, and manifest management. This system is designed to replace the TPW and integrate directly with the Array system. Signature Capture includes equipping the drivers with handhelds and the counters with signature pads, allowing every portion of the process to be captured electronically and retrieved in real time by Madison's staff and customers. This is just one of many commitments that Madison has made to increase their customer service, reduce errors, and become more efficient, thus allowing them to be more competitive in todays marketplace

Standard Electric signs up for document management, wireless warehouse, and signature capture after realizing the current benefits of Savance's quoting and ordering system (OrderSavant App), customer storefront (OrderSavant Web), and sales force automation tool (OrderSavant Mobile). Vern Weber, president of Standard Electric, is committed to improving operations and continuing to lead the industry and grow their business.

WWJ news radio featured EIOBoard as part of its Great Lakes IT report. EIOBoard is an Electronic In Out Board that gives users corporate instant messaging (IM), synchronized with Microsoft Outlook and Novell Groupwise, and features several interfaces to allow staff to lookup and update statuses.
