Changing the User/Credentials

In this document we will cover how to change the user credentials from one user to another both inside the application and from the system tray.
In The Application
1. With the application open, you should see the following bar of options at the top of the application window:
2. Select the circled "Settings" option and the following window will appear:
3. In the circled fields erase any values which may already be populating these fields and input the new user's credentials. (Username and Password)
4. At this point, you may click the "Test Auth." button in the previously highlighted section and the following window should appear when the credentials are entered correctly.
5. If Step 4 returned an error, make sure to double-check the server name you are connecting to:
6. For Cloud customers the server name should be as seen above in the circled section. On-premise hosted customers will have their own server name.
7. Test the connection to your server once you have input the correct server name.
8. If at this time you receive an error instead of the above confirmation message server troubleshooting may be necessary or you have the wrong server name.
From the System Tray
1.In the bottom right hand corner of the screen you will find your system tray.
2. Click on the circled up arrow and you will see a box expand that looks similar to this:
3. Right-click on the circled EIOBoard Icon and the following menu will appear:
4. Select the circled "Settings" option and the following window will appear:
5. In the circled fields erase any values which may already be populating these fields and input the new user's credentials. (Username and Password)
6. At this point, you may click the "Test Auth." button in the previously highlighted section and the following window should appear when the credentials are entered correctly.
