The latest release requires at least Windows 7 OS.

Theses are the Pre-requisites the computer will need to be able to download:

• C++ Redistributable 2010 SP1 (x86 and x64: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999)
• .NET Framework 4.6.2 (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=863265)
• Visual Basic Power Packs: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=321343

The installer will automatically download any prerequisites and install them if you are connected to the Internet (which may require a reboot).  If you are not connected to the Internet, you must install the prerequisites first to allow the installer to continue.

All interfaces communicate through the EIOBoard Website, so the client must be able to access the website through an internet or intranet connection.

It is highly recommended to use the Windows 10 operating system with the most current updates and newest versions available due to limitations and end of life support for client operating systems like Windows 7. As for hardware requirements, if your client is powerful enough to run a Windows 7 operating system, it is powerful enough to run the whole collection of EIOBoard client Applications.  To be more specific, here are some suggested minimum requirements and recommendations:
