Do I have to purchase hardware from Savance to run the Kiosk?

No, Savance released a software only version of the Kiosk in early 2007. You can run this on any device that can run .NET. You must also install the .NET service on your EIOBoard server to support the web service required required to run the kiosk. Current versions of EIOBoard come with these requirements automatically, but if you wish to install the pre-requisites beforehand or are having any trouble, they are listed manually here:
