To turn down the fan on a Kiosk device, follow these instructions:

1. Open the Kiosk’s BIOS. To do this, plug in a keyboard into the Kiosk if you haven’t already. Restart the Kiosk and follow the commands on the screen before Windows Starts. It will have you press a button such as Esc to enter the BIOS.

2. Once you are in the BIOS, open the Advanced tab and go to Hardware Health Configuration.

3. There are a couple of settings here you will want to change. Here they are:

   1. CPU Fanmode Setting: PWM Manually Mode

   2. CPU WM Control: 80

   3. System Fan Mode Setting: PWM Manually Mode

   4. System Fan PWM Control: 080

4. When you are done, be sure to Save and Exit. Once you start the Kiosk again, the fan should be toned down and much quieter!
