EIOBoard Outlook Interface DLLs Appear for Each User on a Terminal Server

If you are running the EIOBoard Outlook Interface on a terminal server, you may have noticed there is a copy of the EIOBoard DLLs in each user’s profile.  The reason for this is that VSTO (Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office) enables Shadow Copy for each of the DLLs.  This means that when Outlook starts, it copies the DLLs to a different location in the user profile to make sure the original DLLs are not locked.  You can read more about this here:

While we currenly have a request to change this functionality on our request list, it will require a significant amount of work to make this change.   At this time this request is not scheduled in a specific release.  If this is something that is important to you, below is a link explaining how we handle requests like this:
