What is the difference between the EIOBoard Application, Browser, Mobile, and Kiosk Interfaces?

The EIOBoard Application Interface runs only on Windows-based computers, such as Windows XP/Vista/7/8. It is a small application that interfaces with the database through port 80 or 1433 using HTTP or HTTPS. The application interface offers some unique benefits over the web interface. Some of these benefits include Outlook/GroupWise Synchronization, Auto-Status In/Out, and Idle timer. The EIOBoard Outlook Add-In Interface has the exact same features as the Application, running on Windows-based computers. However, this interface is integrated into Microsoft Outlook, allowing for easy use for users who prefer to see their status board with Outlook.
