When attempting to do a group chat with several users (usually over 5 or more), our chat client may have issues holding the session with all the users.  This is being addressed in version 8.0.  As a work around, limit your group chat with 2-5 members to prevent this anomaly from occurring.  Here is an example of an attempt to chat with several users all at once:

User 'Dave Thomas' joined the conversation.
User 'Brian Johnson' joined the conversation.
User 'Betty Davis' joined the conversation.
User 'Matt McDonald' joined the conversation.
User 'Tom Austin' joined the conversation.
User 'Steve Johnson' joined the conversation.
User 'Fred Smith' joined the conversation.
User 'Matt Daniels' joined the conversation.
User 'Terry Petty' joined the conversation.
User 'Mike Smith' joined the conversation.
User 'Bob Richards' joined the conversation.
User 'Paul Renolds' joined the conversation.
User 'Mike Edwards' joined the conversation.
User 'Rick Davison' joined the conversation.
User 'John Lucas' joined the conversation.
User 'Mary Marrow' joined the conversation.
