Let's say a customer returned items, which were received in an RMA. If the items were put in the Suspect On Hand Bin during the RMA Receiving process, you have the option to automatically generate a Vendor Return from the Warehouse Manager. To do so, go to Inventory > Warehouse Manager and make sure you are in the Overview tab at the top. Then in the Inventory section, go to Manage Suspect On Hand > Manage Suspect Returned Items. This will bring up the screen seen below. First of all, find the item(s) you want to create a Vendor Return for. You first of all need to specify a Vendor by clicking the corresponding "..." button and searching for the correct Vendor. Then you need to go to the "To Vendor" column and click the "..." Location to pick the RTV Bin to place the item in. This will bring up the screen seen below. Just pick the correct Location (bin) and specify the quantity to put in this bin. If there is a large quantity of this item, you have the option to split it into different bins, as long as the total Quantity matches the amount specified in the Received column. When you are done specifying the Vendor and Location, be sure to check each row that you want to process. Then when you are ready, click the Process button on the bottom-right of the screen. A Vendor Return will be created for each unique vendor specified. So if two items have the same Vendor specified, they will be put on the same Vendor return. You can then open the Vendor Return by clicking Open from the main Savance Enterprise menu. Once you open it up, you can make any changes as necessary. You can save your changes at any time by clicking the Save button in the main menu. You can also press CTRL+S on your keyboard to save changes. Once you are finished adding all the line items and customizing the Vendor Return, you are ready to convert by clicking the Convert button at the top of the main window! This will be discussed further in a later section. | |
