How To Use The 'Send To' Feature
Posted by Michael Renock on 10 March 2015 01:52 PM

In Savance Enterprise, it is possible to send a quote/order over to another person so that they can do something with it.  To begin, have the Quote/Order open that you would like to send, and make sure it is in the forefront.  Select the 'Send to...' option, which is found under the Send menu.

The Send Quotation screen will open.  You can highlight multiple names to send the quote/order to.  You also have the option to send an e-mail alert to the people you selected by placing a checkmark next to 'Alert Recipients Via Email'.  Choose the most appropriate Reminder Type from the dropdown.  For the message, you can either key in something into the Type Your Message section, or you can select some predefinded text from the Message Picklist.  Whatever you select will automatically be transferred to the message area.  Once you are ready, hit the OK button.

Now, the Email Alert confirmation screen will come up if you had previously selected the e-mail option.  It shows you the contents of the e-mail message, along with the e-mail recipients it is going to.  You now have the opportunity to change the e-mail message or cancel sending it.  Hit OK to proceed.

You will now receive a popup box that tells you if sending the quote/order to the people you chose was successful.

The users you sent the quote/order to will find an alert in their In Basket.
