Item History

Sometimes you may need to check what dollar amount a particular item was sold for of an item was at a particular point in time.  This can easily be done using the Item History feature.  To access this screen, simply right-click the item on a quote and choose the Lookup Quote/Order History option.

The Details tab of the Item History screen will automatically load data for the part number you clicked on.  The search results show you the order date and other order information.  Initially, the information shown will only be for the customer or vendor entered on the quote or RFQ.  Checkmark the Search All Customers/Vendors option to broaden your search.  You will also be able to see the sell price, cost, margin, and list price.  If you double-click one of the search results, it will open that order for you in the background while conveniently leaving the Item History window open so that you can continue looking at it.  You can also change the Search Information to look at other part numbers or manufacturers, narrow down to a specific date range, and limit the results to only quotes, orders, RFQ's, or purchase orders.  You can also specify which warehouse to show the history from.

The Summary tab will show you tabulated information about the part for the last 12 months and year to date totals.  It displays the quantity sold, sales revenue, profit, on hand and shipped quantities, and the total number of orders.
