Error When Checking Out in Webstore

While setting up the webstore for use with Authorize.net there may be an issue where the process will error when you check out.
This error is caused by a fault in Windows and can be resolved by applying a hotfix provided by Microsoft. To verify this issue please download the test.asp file attached to this article. Place this in the webstore's main folder. Browse to that file in your internet browser. If you receive an error containing: "8000fff" This fix will apply to you.
If the machine is running Windows Server 2003 the server must be running Service Pack 2 for this to work. If you are running any newr system this will function properly.
Download >>>This File<<< and install it. The update will require a full restart of the physical server. After installing go browse back to the test.asp file in your web browser. If this was done properly the error should not longer occur and your webstore should be fully operational. | ||||
