When you collect cash and checks on a regular basis, you will need to go to the bank at some point to make a deposit.  You can prepare a deposit and print out a deposit slip in the Accounting Manager.  Hit the Record Deposits icon to begin.  The screen pictured below will open.

By default, this will display all the undeposited payments from the last year.  You may change the payment date range, as necessary.  You can also filter the results by the payment type, such as cash or checks only.  Simply place a checkmark next to the payments you are depositing.  Be sure to choose which bank account you are depositing into, as well as which date you are planning on making the actual deposit.  A comment for later reference is optional.

You can optionally add a Cash Back amount.  Choose which Ledger Account you would like to put the cash back into.  You can also optionally key in a cash back comment.  Once you are ready, it the Save button.  You will be asked if you would like to print a deposit slip, which is up to you.  That's all there is to it.

You can view the deposits at a later time in your Ledger Accounts.  Click on Ledger Accounts in the Accounting Manager.  If you open the bank account that you deposited the money into, you will see the transactions.
