Reprint an Old Document
Posted by Jacob Fairbairn on 11 November 2013 12:44 PM
In some cases, you may want to reprint a document because there was an issue with the printer (out of paper, out of ink, disconnected, etc.), or perhaps you want another copy of an old document. If you would like to reprint a document that has already been printed, you can do so by opening up the Dispatch Viewer from the Documents menu, as seen below.

When you are in the Dispatch Viewer, you will need to change the filters so that your print job will show up. You can change the Type to Print to filter out other jobs. Also, be sure to filter based on the correct date range as well. Once you are finished, be sure to clear the Search button. Then all of the print jobs that fit your search will show up:

Find the job you would like to send to the printer again. Note that you can reprint multiple documents at once by selecting multiple print jobs (press the CTRL key will clicking each document). Right-click on any of the selected documents and click Resend Print.

When you try to print again, you will get a message that asks if you want to select a new printer. Click Yes to select a new printer, or click No to print to the old printer.

If you are printing to a new printer, the Reprint Options window will pop up. Be sure that the the print job is checked, and select the printer you would like to print to from the dropdown menu. When you are done, click Print.

Now the document should reprint! If you would like to make sure the print was successful, you can view the success status at anytime from the Dispatch Viewer.
