This article explains what to do after you have tried to convert a quote to an order with the OrderSavant Application and received a timeout message saying that the conversion failed.
To avoid duplicate orders the first step you should do is check Array to be sure the quote did not actually go through to Array as an order. If you find the order in Array, just close out of the quote in OrderSavant (WITHOUT saving) and within a minute the continuous order import should bring the order over to OrderSavant. If the order does not exist in Array then you can try converting the quote in OrderSavant a second time. If this fails as well try to save a copy of the quote by going into the “Order” menu and selecting “Save As”. You may be prompted to give the quote a name which you can either accept the name given or change it and click “Save”. When prompted to refresh the quote you can say “No” since you most likely already have the proper pricing in place. Now you can try converting the quote to an order again. At this time if you are still having difficulty converting the quote to an order you should contact your system administrator. There may be an issue with the system or someone may be doing maintenance in Array which is causing an item to get locked or the whole system to slow down. | |
