SHIMS was updated, but the change does not appear in OrderSavant

Your OrderSavant server has an import program that runs nightly to synchronize your OrderSavant database with your SHIMS database.  Depending on the settings of the import program, Customers, Inventory, Warehouse Inventory, Orders, and POs will be synchronized. 

 

As an example, let’s say you added a new Account in SHIMS.  This new Account will not immediately be available in OrderSavant, but should be available the following morning after the nightly import runs.  If it is critical that you have this Account in OrderSavant the same day you can manually add them to OrderSavant (assuming you have Administrative rights) and they will be synchronized at night from SHIMS.  The same is true for Vendors. 

 

If it has been more than one day since you have updated SHIMS and you still do not see the change, please contact Savance support.  It is likely that the import program is not running on your server or there was a problem.
