Installing EIOBoard on a Windows 2008 Server.

Windows Server 2008 is fully support with EIOBoard, R2 included. Make sure you download the correct installer, 32 bit vs. 64 bit. Some things to note:

If Chat is used, port 5222 must be opened in the Windows Firewall (assuming the Windows Firewall is enabled) because this port is closed by default.

You may need to install ASP.NET Components (under IIS) in the Add Server Role section (which is similar to Add or Remove Windows Components sections in previous versions of Windows). .NET 3.5 SP1 should be installed before installing.
